Nichole LovettHi! I’m Nichole, owner of Harmony Haus, a painting company that provides environmentally friendly painting services for residential and commercial interiors in the Chicago area.

Harmony Haus uses only low- and no-VOC paints, and we specialize in painting, faux finishes, custom murals and designs, stencil application, and furniture refinishing.

Many of the materials we use are Green Seal Certified products purchased from local, independent merchants. Harmony Haus is committed to incorporating recycled or sustainable materials, and great care is taken to reduce the amount of garbage that reaches landfills at the end of each job.

I began painting houses professionally in 2008 after noticing a need for affordable, environmentally responsible painting services. Some painting companies cut costs by disregarding environmental impact. We stick to a client’s budget while also factoring in sustainability, public health and community responsibility. Harmony Haus is fully insured and certified by the EPA to comply with all lead-safety standards.

Community Involvement

Harmony Haus takes part in a number of annual environmental events, including Green America’s Green Festival at Navy Pier, Evanston Green Living Festival, and the Going Green Matters in Wilmette, and it was the only painting company invited to join the Uncommon Ground Farmers Market and the Edgewater GRalley.

As a local volunteer, I lead a team every spring and fall to clean Evanston-area beaches with the Alliance for the Great Lakes, and I’ve represented the I-GO Car sharing program at events around the Chicago area.
